On Saturday January 29th, 2011 BAYAN-USA-NORCAL and NAFCON joined over one thousand demonstrators including representatives of the bay area communities of Egyptians, Tunisians, Palestinians, Asian Americans, and other people of color marching in solidarity with the Egyptian people and all other people in the Middle East who are taking to the streets to demand freedom and justice. Filipino Americans stood in solidarity with all peace loving people who are calling for an end to the fascist dictatorship of President Hosni Mubarak and for genuine changes in Egyptian society.
As Filipino Americans we will continue to stand in solidarity with the courageous struggle of the Egyptian people and all oppressed people until freedom is finally won!
